At times, life truly is a funny circle. A loop of moments and memories that quietly repeat themselves, sometimes without us even noticing—until we catch ourselves doing the exact thing we once giggled about as kids.

Do you remember when we were little and we really, really wanted something? Maybe a second helping of dessert, or to stay up just a little later. We’d run to our mothers with hopeful eyes, only to hear a firm “no.” But we weren’t done just yet—because we had a secret weapon: Grandma. And oh, how quickly that “no” turned into a cheerful “yes!” We thought it was the best thing in the world. Then the years flew by, and we became the mothers. Suddenly, we were the ones setting the rules. And boy, didn’t it just grind our gears when our mothers—now grandmothers to our children—would swoop in and undo our “no” with a wink and a “just this once.” We’d say, “Mum! I just told them no!” And she’d smile like she knew something we didn’t. Spoiler alert: she did.Now here we are, grandmothers ourselves… and guess what we’re doing? You guessed it. Saying “yes” with that same cheeky grin. The circle has come all the way around—and it’s absolutely hilarious.

Today’s video is a perfect example. A sweet grandma gives her grandchild the answer every kid hopes to hear… even after mom said no. You’ll laugh, you’ll relate, and you might just recognize yourself. Enjoy!
