One of the hardest parts of being a parent or grandparent is when you find your grandchild’s mischief absolutely hilarious, but you know you have to discipline them! What do you do in such instances? Well, today’s video captures one of those moments perfectly.
In this laugh-out-loud clip, an older brother confidently strides up to, who I assume is his mother, to tattle on his little sister for using a curse word. But here’s the twist — the boy is clearly nervous about delivering the news. Over and over, he insists, “Don’t get mad at me, I’m just telling you what she said!” The suspense builds as he works up the courage to blurt out the offending word: “She said… shit!”
And just when you think this is a teachable moment for the little sister, she completely derails the situation by bursting into laughter! It’s obvious she isn’t even remotely sorry, and her carefree giggles make it all the harder not to laugh yourself. It’s a moment every parent and grandparent can relate to — the impossible balancing act of keeping a straight face when your grandchild’s antics are downright hilarious!
