Did you ever face something like this growing up? Because let me tell you, I sure did!

When I was little, I had a habit of getting into trouble—nothing too serious, just the usual childhood mischief. But the funny part always came when my grandmother walked through the door. My mum would be mid-lecture or getting ready to hand down a punishment, and in would come Grandma, swooping in like my personal superhero. She’d defend me, sometimes even scold my mum for being “too harsh,” and more often than not, I’d get off the hook completely—even when I was clearly in the wrong!

Now that I’m a grandma myself, I finally understand why she did it. There’s just something about those little faces that makes you want to protect them from everything—even their own parents sometimes! And I’ll admit it—I catch myself doing the exact same thing with my grandkids now. It’s like déjà vu, and it always makes me smile.

Today’s funny video shows a very similar moment between a parent, child, and grandparent—and I couldn’t stop laughing! It reminded me so much of those sweet, mischievous memories. I hope it brings a smile to your face too. Enjoy!
