I, for one, am not a fan of April Fools’ Day.
That may have to do with the fact that I’m always on the “fool” end of the day rather than doing the actual pranking myself! After all these years, you’d think I’d be able to look at the calendar and prepare myself… But nope! 😅
In the video below, we see a father who digs deep to pull off his biggest April Fools’ Day gag yet. And it’s his poor daughters on the receiving end of this one! This was April 1, 2020, when the pandemic was in full swing and everyone was in lockdown and the kids were all being homeschooled. Dad decided to tell them it was over and it was time to go back to school, and the girls got all dressed up and were ready to walk out the door…
“On April Fool’s Day, we fooled our kids that the coronavirus was over and they had to go back to school early. This was done to break the boredom of home schooling and the kids’ reaction was priceless.”
Dad waited until the last possible second to break the news, the best way to pull off such a prank! The daughters stand there in disbelief as the backpack slides off the one’s arm, and the other charges at Dad and starts to hit him. Hey, it certainly did the trick of breaking up the monotony of homeschooling for a bit! 😛
