Candy Sushi treats are a playful and delicious way to satisfy your grandkids’ sweet tooth. Plus, since they’re made with simple ingredients, you can easily make more if the grandkids want to keep snacking!

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 3 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Fruit leather
  • Gummy candy (such as Swedish Fish, Sour Patch Kids, or gummy worms)

Instructions:

  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. Add the mini marshmallows to the saucepan and stir until they are melted and smooth.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the Rice Krispies cereal until it is evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
  4. Let the mixture cool for a few minutes, then shape it into small rectangles.
  5. Cut strips of fruit leather and wrap them around the Rice Krispies treats to make them look like sushi rolls.
  6. Cut the gummy candy into small pieces and place them on top of the rolls to look like the fish.
  7. Serve the candy sushi on a platter for a fun and creative snack.

So gather the grandchildren and give sushi the sweet makeover it deserves! Now picture Mom and Dad when the kids are asking for more sushi… 😉
