Candy Sushi treats are a playful and delicious way to satisfy your grandkids’ sweet tooth. Plus, since they’re made with simple ingredients, you can easily make more if the grandkids want to keep snacking!
Ingredients:
- 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 3 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Fruit leather
- Gummy candy (such as Swedish Fish, Sour Patch Kids, or gummy worms)
Instructions:
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Add the mini marshmallows to the saucepan and stir until they are melted and smooth.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the Rice Krispies cereal until it is evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
- Let the mixture cool for a few minutes, then shape it into small rectangles.
- Cut strips of fruit leather and wrap them around the Rice Krispies treats to make them look like sushi rolls.
- Cut the gummy candy into small pieces and place them on top of the rolls to look like the fish.
- Serve the candy sushi on a platter for a fun and creative snack.
So gather the grandchildren and give sushi the sweet makeover it deserves! Now picture Mom and Dad when the kids are asking for more sushi… 😉
