Raising kids was so much fun—truly some of the best years of my life. But if there’s one thing I definitely don’t miss about it? It’s those long, blurry-eyed nights when bedtime felt more like a battle than a routine. You know the kind—where you’re praying for just a few hours of peace, but your little one suddenly becomes a wide-eyed philosopher at 1:45 AM, wanting to talk about clouds or dinosaurs or why the moon follows the car. Some nights I felt like a hostage in my own home, rocking, humming, pleading… all while the clock kept inching toward 2AM.

And that brings me to today’s video—it’s such a familiar scene, it almost gave me a flashback! This little one, who can barely string full words together yet, is absolutely chatting up a storm with its dad. The baby is wide awake, full of energy, babbling away like it’s hosting a late-night talk show. Meanwhile, poor dad looks like he’s about five seconds away from collapsing. His eyes are barely open, he’s trying so hard to stay present, but his body is screaming for sleep.

It’s adorable. It’s exhausting. It’s parenting in a nutshell.

And if you’ve ever been there, you know—sometimes you just have to laugh, even if it’s through the yawns.
