If you could use a laugh right about now, you’re in luck. Mary Maxwell is back! And on this episode of “Laughing with Mary,” we get more of what we’ve come to expect from the funny senior woman; That matter-of-fact, straight-shooting sense of humor never gets old, especially for the subject matter she covers!

Linda from Toledo writes in and says, “I have always had a dog for as long as I can remember. I can’t think of a time when I didn’t have one. I’m now 82 and have been widowed for 7 years. After my husband died, Charlie, my Cocker Spaniel, was my only real companion. Sadly, Charlie passed away about six months ago…”

She continues, “I’m very lonely and desperately want another dog. My son thinks it would be cruel to get another dog. He thinks I won’t be able to care for it like I have all my other dogs. What do you think, Mary?”

A totally fair question with a lot of good points. But Mary has other ideas. She thinks a bit outside of the box on this one and delivers some funny answers in a way only Mary could! I mean, she does have a point… Right? 😀
