What would we do without dogs? They’re called man’s best friend for a reason! Our little companions and precious fur babies are spoiled just as much as our grandchildren! But that’s not a bad thing. They’re very deserving of it for all they give back to us, and they make life all that much more full and joyous. After everyone else has moved out of the house, they’re the ones who remain after all. 🙂
Even if you don’t have a dog, you probably know what it’s like when the daughters or sons bring them over for a visit. There seems to be a special bond between a grandparent and grandpet, am I right? The video at the bottom of the page is the perfect example of that, and it’s super adorable!
Grandpa is driving along, and in the passenger seat is his daughter. And she brought along her six-year-old teacup Chihuahua named Beanie. Gramps wrote a song specially for her, and he likes to sing it to her when she’s around. Beanie absolutely loves it and always sings along to show her appreciation!
The little dog throws her head back and does her best to keep up with the performance. It’s her own special song, and it’s as if she knows it! The way she sings her heart out, she’s showing how proud she is of his loving tribute to her. Beanie does this every time she hears the song, and it never gets old!

I mean, how cute is that? You know grandpa is loving it too… It has to mean so much to him! Pets are part of the family too and therefore add to the one thing that is most cherished in this life. And the more spoiling and pampering we can do, the better! It’s what grandparents do best anyway, right? 🙂
