Who else loves Dear Abby? I feel as though I have been reading her column since it began in 1956, and I have always found her advice spot on! Though the original writer, Pauline Phillips, who used the pen name “Abigail Van Buren,” has passed away, her daughter, Jeanne, has continued the family legacy and keeps dishing out relevant and useful advice that would make her mother proud.
While anything published by Dear Abby is typically worth reading, this one, in particular, really grabbed my attention, and I think you will see why when you read what a “Wise Woman in North Carolina” has to say.
Isn’t this the truth? Time goes by way too quickly, and the older we get, the more precious we realize it is! I hope this touches your heart as much as it did mine. (P.S. I would love to meet this Wise Woman in North Carolina – she gets it!)
