One thing’s for sure: sometimes it can be hard to connect with other generations. That’s been true for as long as humans have been on the planet.

So sometimes you might not know what to say or ask your grandchildren. I know there have been many times that we’ve sat in silence, especially as they get older and busier with other things.

That’s why I came up with these 88 conversation starters. I put them in Fill-in-the-Blank format because that can be a lot of fun. Feel free to alternate between conversation starters for you and them, but there are no rules here! I hope they help you and your grandchildren discover each other a little more and feel closer than ever before.
