I have never ever agreed with those men who like to say that we women just love to argue. Honestly, I always thought that was such a tired old stereotype, completely untrue, and honestly a little annoying. But then I saw this video… and I’m starting to have just the tiniest second thoughts—lol! 😄
It’s a clip of this tiny little girl I’m talking barely talking-age who can’t even pronounce half her words properly yet. But there she is, hands on her hips, eyebrows furrowed, having a full-blown, passionate argument with her dad! And let me tell you, she’s not backing down one bit. She’s making her point, even if no one can quite understand what that point is!
Her dad is trying to reason with her, but she’s in full-on “I said what I said” mode. The sass, the gestures, the tone, it’s all there, in miniature. It’s honestly one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a while. And it got me thinking… maybe the fellas do have a tiny sliver of a point—but only because girls like her start learning how to stand their ground very early!
Just goes to show that strong-willed women don’t just appear out of nowhere. They start as strong-willed little girls who argue their case, even when their case is mostly gibberish.
