Sometimes all you need is to push yourself. And today’s funny video shows that in the most literal (and hilarious) way. First, this little toddler gives his older brother a playful shove into the pool. Splash! Easy enough when someone else is in front of him.
But then it’s his turn. And since there’s no one left to push him, what does he do? He gives himself a pat on the back, only it’s not just a pat, it’s a full-on self–push! With that little nudge, he launches himself forward and jumps right into the water, grinning all the way down.
It’s one of those moments that’s both adorable and surprisingly wise: sometimes, you really do have to be the one to give yourself the push you need.
