When you were a student, who was your favorite teacher? Or did you even have one? You know the kind I mean—that one special teacher who didn’t just teach lessons from a textbook, but taught you to believe in yourself. The one who saw something in you when you couldn’t quite see it in yourself yet. The one who felt less like a strict authority figure and more like a best friend who just happened to know a lot about math or literature or life.I had one of those teachers, and to this day, I’m so incredibly grateful for him. He didn’t just help me pass a subject—he helped shape the way I saw the world and, more importantly, how I saw myself.
Today’s video reminded me so much of that kind of teacher. It shows a man who clearly pours love, laughter, and light into every single student he meets. The joy in the kids’ faces, the way they run to him, the smiles, the laughter—it’s obvious this man is not just a teacher. He’s a memory-maker, a self-esteem booster, and a quiet superhero in the classroom. And goodness, do we need more like him in the world today. If you ever had a teacher like that—or if you are one—thank you. You’re the reason many of us made it through.
