1. Classic mashed potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  2. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
  3. Add milk and butter, and mash until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

2. Honey-glazed carrots
