Do your grandchildren love playing with slime? Well, with this recipe, you can make edible slime that’s safe to play with and eat! Plus, since it’s made with simple kitchen ingredients, you can easily make more if the grandkids want to keep eating (or playing)!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • Food coloring (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and powdered sugar until well combined.
  2. Slowly pour in the water and stir until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps.
  3. If desired, add a few drops of food coloring to the mixture and stir until the color is even.
  4. Use your hands to knead and stretch the slime until it reaches a smooth and gooey consistency.
  5. Serve the slime in a bowl or on a clean surface for your grandkids to play with and eat.

Delightful, delicious, and downright fun! Invite the grandkids into Grandma’s lab for a tasty science experiment they won’t believe. 🙂
